….AND I’M ABSOLUTELY LOVING IT SO FAR!! <3 I’m only about half-way through and I’m loving it so far. Things are getting explain in a fairly quick manor, such as how Sharon came back to life and the name changes. I’m also loving all the references to the games. Totally making my night. Defiantly worth the money so far!

WHAT ok here it is, my commission post. I like/want/need money, and I can draw. Hopefully some of you can see where I am going with this.

$2 gets you a doodle. A rough cut. Maybe a little more if I like where it’s going. See the first two drawings after the “Commission” photo. +$1 for every additional figure.

$3 gets you a line art chibi. +$1 for every new figure. See my little video-game playing self up there.

$5 get a colored one. +$2 for every new figure. Good for minecraft skins :D

$15 gets you good line art. +$7 for every addtl. figure. See the injured elf and the un-colored goth girl there.

$25 gets shaded lineart. +$10 for addtl. figs. See kitty-man, though shading will probably be better than that.

$40 gets you full color. See top drawing and colored goth girl. +15 for every additional figure.

Turnaround will be about 1-2 weeks max.

No backgrounds unless maybe it’s something very simple. A few props and whatnot are ok. As you can see, I am mostly good at drawing people (and humanoids), but shoot me an ask if you want something else and I’ll tell you if I think I can do a good enough job at it. With people/couples, the closer to the face the art centers around, the more detail I can put into it. Keep that in mind. Will not draw straight up porn, but nudity is ok. Will draw from fandoms or OCs. Try to have an idea of what you want though, I’m not going to redraw everything a million times. Tell me if you are planning on printing this. The image I send you will be pretty big, but I can make it ideal for printing too.

My style can very a bit, if you need it to look more like one of my styles than another, just point out an image you like, either from this post or from somewhere in my tumblr.

Special note: I have been burned waayyy too many times online to accept payment after the work is done. If it really bothers you I can do a 50% before 50% after but I am sick of having my art stolen by people who “just want to see” my work before they pay me. I have sold a lot of art online professionally and you can see some reviews here.

Alright, so I’ve seen a lot of stuff about all of these lately (whether it’s hate, making fun of, or praise) and I came to the conclusion that I want to put my opinion on this subject out there.

Now, for those that I don’t know what I’m talking about, here is a bit of a break down:

OCs — Original Characters. Can be used interchangeably with Fan Character.
FCs — Fan Characters. Made for a specific fandom. Can be used interchangeably with Original Character.
Mary-sues/Gary-stus — For more info, here’s a wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Sue

I follow quiet a few blogs on tumblr that are dedicated to showing off, making fun, doing red lines, offering advice on how to make the character better, tearing apart a character, etc, etc. (mostly looking out for my OCs) and some things have just erked me a bit.

I understand that a LOT of people HATE Mary-sues (and some OCs/FCs that they think are Mary-sues) cause these characters tend to be rather obnoxious and annoying. I understand that and I know that everyone is entitled to their opinions. But there is a wrong way and a right way to go about it. Flat out ripping the character apart (while 9 times out of 10 is rather amusing to read) with out offering constructive criticism is the wrong way to do it. Doing it from the perspective of trying to help and being constructive and offering solutions to problems is the right way to go about it. It makes you look less douchie and the people who’s characters that you are ripping apart might not take as much offense to it.

Also, I understand that most of the time that people don’t mention the artists names, to keep them protected from harassment, and that’s fine. However, removing the creators watermark or pen name or whatever they place ON the picture to identify that it’s theirs, isn’t right. Not mentioning the name is one thing, but editing the picture is another. And again, I understand that it is to protect the artist, I do. But at the same time, it leaves a bad impression on the person that edited it, especially if the artist finds the piece. And it’s sad that people bash these characters, cause every character starts out as a Mary-sue or a Gary-stu. It’s sad, but true. Cause every character starts out with Mary-sue qualities before they get worked on and start to take on a life of their own. At least in my opinion.

That’s part of the reason that I made my meme-checklist thingy. I didn’t make it to be mean, but the help other people see if their OCs have those Mary-sue qualities that everyone hates. This way, they could change them or keep them, but this way they knew why people were saying (whether it’s true or not) that the OC in question was a Mary-sue/Gary-stu. I guess what I’m trying to say is that I love OCs, whether they are Mary-sues or not. So if you want someone to help you make your character better, want a second opinion, someone to talk to about your character, someone to draw your OC (or Mary-sue) x Cannon character request, etc., etc., talk to me. I wont make fun of you (I might poke fun a bit), but I wont be rude or mean.
